33KV Network Refurbishment

OTDS has been manufacturing overhead line materials for more than 50 years. Our experience in complete OHL networks is unrivalled with a vast experience in all types of projects.

To date we have completed more than 5000 wooden pole replacements with steel poles for our oil and gas customer. All exiting fititngs need replacement as well as various overhead line switchgear, surge arrestors, insulators and hardware. All designed, manfactured and supplied OTDS as a complete comprehensive package for our client.

Installation can also be carried out by our team throughout the world.

MV SUBSTATION REFURBISHMENT

Together with our client our engineers provided comprehensive engineering and design services for our customers existing substation which was damaged and obsolete. OTDS provided all the necessary equipment and engineering services to a successful commissioning.

The scope of works included replacing and retrofitting services of the MV panels connected to various overhead lines and transformers.

OIL AND GAS FIELD REFURBISHMENT

In 2021 OTDS was awarded a major complete turnkey project for the design, manufacture and supply of a complete refubishment for an overhead line and electrical distribution project for our oil and gas customers four individual fields.

The project envolved the design and manufacture of various transmission towers, destruction tests and complete supply of all materials for the installation. Containerised substations with MV and LV panels complete for use within desert conditions were manufactured to the clients demanding specificaitons.

All equipment, incluing distribution and power transformers were all connected via a SCADA network for operation and monitoring purposes. All cable and conductors were also part of the overall package which was completed with our team on site.

FAT tests, training and full support was provided to our customer including the shipping of all equipment to site via OTDS logisitcs.
